Doooodling

Hi.
So I still haven't posted a vlog, I still haven't written 2,000 words in my most recent novella, I still haven't gathered the pictures together that I need for my digi-art homework on Monday, I sill haven't filmed the music video I've been meaning to create, I still haven't gotten out of my pajamas yet, and I still haven't vacuumed my floor.

Seriously, if you could see me floor right now, you would realize that the last one there totally trumps the others.

Anyway, I need your help. All of you. Here is a question, and I want---nay, need---you to answer it to the very best of your abilities.

What would be your "BEST DAY EVER"?

And furthermore, how would you incorporate it into the Google logo?

I've decided to enter the Doodle 4 Google contest...I have 48 days to draw a one-in-a-million doodle. Game on world! =D

But really, what defines a wonderful time? I have ideas (ohhh yes, don't you know I always have ideas!), but I want yours too. What are creative ways to show somebody what things make you happy and treasure life? What about color schemes---colors evoke emotions, so what colors do you think in when you think happy thoughts?

I need feedback peoples!

Until then, I'm off to doodle and read The Invention of Hugo Cabret, as the google site said that that book is a good example of depicting things in pictures (also because it was one of my most prized Christmas presents ;).

Invention of Hugo Cabret = one of the best books ever written. And the movie has got Asa in it. 100% yes. :)

Ooooh...best day ever. Automatically makes me think of Tangled.

Honestly, I don't know what makes the best days ever. Listening to good music. Hanging out with close friend (or being by myself, if I'm in a mood). Reading a favorite book. Drawing a picture, and having it come out right. Colors like yellow or orange or bright ocean blue make me happy.

Ice cream. Ice cream is a necessary ingredient. Do not forget the ice cream. :D

I think that you're one brilliant artist, and that if anyone has a shot at this, you do. Go get 'em, girl.

Its hard to know what the best day ever would be...

To be surrounded by the best people that adored you and you them, to have an endless supply of Marble Slab ice cream, a sunny day, picnics, and just knowing that everything's okay. To have Anthem lights over whenever I just wanted to chill, and to be able to have hour long conversations with Michael W. Smith...
So short version:
Have a huge party outside my mansion (which I'll get someday ;) by my pool, surrounded by the most precious people ever, and just laugh and have the time of my life. Yes, that sounds very nice. Especially right now.

Thanks for dropping me into my happy place for a sec. I needed that.

You asked for the best day ever, so I dreamed big. Hope that's okay with you.

....And I think you'll do fantastic at it. Goooo girl!! Blow em' out of the water! I know you will. :)

Ely: Haha! I didn't think of Tangled at first, but now I sure do!

Ahh, I love Hugo. Saw the movie when it was in theatres and thought it was *sigh* quite wonderful.

@ Lauricia:
Aww, yeah I know what you mean. Best days ever happen with the bestest people ever. But how to put that into a picture...it might be a bit of a task.
