Warm Up

I've missed a great deal by bargaining with uncertainty. I'm afraid I always will. I'm not a decisive person, but I think bucket loads and I've blogged a bucket less than usual. Is it important to challenge yourself? Do we strive to push limits? Or are we more composed than that? Are we too satisfied, too comfortable, and too drowsy to draw back the curtain of possibility and thus unravel the thread in the shrouding of our own destinations?

There's a whole lot to be said for the month of November. And most of it will not be said by me.

And in the place where abstract rules and reigns with and iron fist and buttery fingers, we sit, watching our worlds go by. I've found that I love people. Who knew? The stories behind the bright eyes are enough to draw me in for an eternity. I've fallen in love with human laughter. It lights up the nighttime more bright enough even to earn jealousy from the stars. They snatch glances at us, envy glowing in their haughty gazes. Who would have known that a smile could so easily outmatch a celestial giant? And the medicine to cure all ails? ---a listening ear and a loving heart. This is the mystery of all mysteries: the science of the soul. Who dares study such a wild thing? So keep up chaps, keep up.

As exhaustion takes us one by one, the space filling at my fingertips becomes void. A void space. A vacuum. Which is something I alone do not understand. Emptiness is beyond me, as I am not empty, but full. Come back when you are well and good and right for the tasks before you. Purpose does not escape you, and neither will it me. It's scary and comforting and conceding all at the same time. Complexity thrives with bloody fangs.

My fingers are warm now. The writing time is alighted on air. Breath it in.

Planzzzz

Hello, I've been a bit AWOL on you, haven't I?

Naughty me. But I've got skoooooooooooooooooool!! Look what I this morning before getting out of bed.
DRAWN ON GIMP WITH THE LAPTOP PAD-MOUSE-THING BECAUSE I'M TOO CHEAP FOR PROPER SOFTWARE OR A STYLUS. *sniff* Alms for the poor anyone?

^^ I titled it "Crossed"

Well there's an hour wasted on art when I could have been doing something productive with my life. But hey now, don't judge---you tell me what YOU do that's so hotey-totey and productive. Sometimes I like to pretend that the time I waste be creative will be rewarded and the time I spent staring into the souless eyes of dingy textbooks will eventually fade to nothing of great remarkableness.
I've been running on nice inspiration streak for the past two or three weeks, and I'm really glad for that. Videos have been slapped together, I'm inching closer and closer to becoming more prepared for NaNoWriMo, and audio project-wise, I've got some new mic gear on it's way so that I'll be able to have fun with recording stuff. FYI, I used to have a little microphone that brought immense entertainment (until, alas, it was broken), and so I have some vague planzzzz for the new one.

Also, I've started to look at sights that will let me upload my artwork and help me sell prints online. Anyone know much about that stuff?

art art art art art art art art art art....

On top of this, I have tests to study for, vocab to memorize, essays to write, and all the usual hubub that gives my life some sort of structure. And a reason to wake up before noon.

More later, as I must away.
