Unfortunately for you, brave reader, this poemy-thing was composed and re-composed over different points of my day---some points when I wanted to write a song and some points when I wanted to write prose (and all when I was in differing moods).
It rhymes sometimes. But it's meant to be a crude rhyme in some places and no rhyme at others.
The tempo is slow. The words are abstract to the point of no meaning. Have fun.

When we sing
I can see the stars beneath the blankets of the night
When you laugh
I can hear the rain from the sky
When it hits the sand
If you close your eyes
I'll sit and stay for a while
And you'll whisper hello to the strangers
And we watched the broken window
You'll glue it back together
I'll try to help
But I can't understand
You try to speak
But it's out of our hands
I can't help but pretend I see
Because even in the dark there's a firefly
Even when it's a simple truth
I't won't be
There's a crescent in the candle tonight
Breath it in
In and out
Take a break
Tear it up
Tear us down
Stand up in the tidal wave
Sing songs in the broken place
Because it's not far from here
No we're not far from there
So take heart
Take care
Don't remember to forget
What I've said and what you've seen
Let the silence take your head
And take your dares
Take your dreams
We were fools in the river
Washed away by a song
In the sound of the villages
In the cry of the town
And there's a teardrop on the moon
Up there
I'll hold you
In my heart
But you have to let me
Let me fall apart
Fall away
Out of your arms
'Cause I'm slipping through your fingers
Through your hands
In the dark
But we'll paint in the numbers
Because we're together
In this storm
For a time
And we'll watch it all crumble
In the weather
And the hurricane
And we'll try
Yes we'll try
We'll both do our best
Yes we'll try
We'll both do our best

Yup. Exhibit A of what it looks like when I want to write a poem, a song, and a novella all at once---and then mix it up together and add random bits and pieces to it throughout random moments of the day.
Oh! If you could only see what else is on the inside of my brain!
But nay, t'would be rather tragic if that were so.
I'm sorry that I don't have anything else for you right now. There are a few things that I've been wanting to share, but those things will have to wait.
Until another random time and place of K-Minty's antics,

Totally in the same boat. I tried writing a post around 15 times yesterday, and failed miserably.
At least yours are interesting. I liked it. It was kinda sad, but sometimes the bestest things come out of sad things.
I thank ye both for the compliments! They make my day. =)
I'm still not very confident when it comes to sharing my little rhymes on my blog, so your support mean quite a bit to me.
Lauricia- I find that 'most everything I write a bit sad or dreary lately. But a good sort of sad, you know? The kind of sad that inspires and makes beautiful things and the kind of sad that make dreams so bittersweet and lovely.
Clair- Oh don't be silly! I'm sure your poems are wonderful!
(*hint* *hint* ---you should post some of them soon ;)
@Kismint,
I wish I could write poems like that, but like Claire said, It sounds ridiculously melodramatic. I hate that. That even happens when I try to write my feelings. It sounds so overdramatic and false.....I like that you can write what you're feeling, and its moving. You should definitely keep it up, okay?
And I know what you're saying...A good kind of sad...Yes, I like those sorts of things.
I think you should do it more often, it is brilliant. I like it!
