But I do not post to talk of bizarre department stores.
Yesterday I drew a picture.
Oh dear.
I'm afraid I'm a very, very less-than-skilled portrait artist. Faces are fun to draw, but I really struggle with proportions.
This is what I mean:
Agh!
Leauphaun! Zethra! Heeeeelp meeeee!
For some reason, I've convinced myself that my depiction of Asa Butterfield looks somewhat better upside down.
Why this is, I have no clue.
Okay: So I've got work to improve on in the art department. However that may be, I have this strange compulsion to edit my drawings once I've scanned them onto my computer.
Take a look.
I LOVE DOING THIS! (Not that it betters my artistic talent, but I love to bring the darks and brights out). Ahhh...I could probably spend a few days between Picasa and Paint.net blending every single pixel of the picture to my heart's content. Actually, I have better renditions of this sketch on my own computer that I wish to share with yaz all, but seeing that I'm not actually on my own computer, this one will haffta do (until another post).
You may call me a geek if you like.
On another note, I charge you in the name of movieness to NOT see this movie.
Ai yi yi! Mirror Mirror was not worth the $1.50 that was spent so that I might see it at the cheap dollar theater.
...*sigh* Yet another movie in which to explain to children that they have a "special power within themselves" with which they can do anything as long as the put their minds to it.
This completely compromises Philippians 4:13.
That, along with the dopey plot line and predictable dialogue turns this movie into a total, rolling-your-eyes disaster.
However, I'm curious enough to go and see this movie.
Do you, like me, find it strange that two Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs parodies have come out at nearly the same time? What's with that anyway?
Until another time and another place,
K-Minty

ooooh! My best friend and I wanna see that movie too!(even though the girl from Twilight is in it....) We also wanna see Brave, but since neither of us is twenty-one... :D we lack legal transportation to get us there, unless we can connive our mothers to take us. :P *sigh* the problems with living almost half an hour out of town... :D
Ely
Yeah, my opinion of Kristen Stewart is not all that high once I consider where her name lies in the credits...but I'd be willing to see this movie (anyone wanna smuggle me into the theater?).
I think on Tuesday I'mma gonna see Brave with my family...I iz rather excited. =D
*points to self*
Fan of Pixar, OH YEAH!
yes! I am so a fan of Pixar(what can I say, Monsters Inc. is one of my faves...) Plus, when I saw the commercial for it I immediately said, "Redheads unite!" Not to mention I love Scottish accents. :D
Ely
"Redheads unite!"? Yes, you would say that...
lol I think I'm gonna see it with my brother and his girlfriend and her sister...which is rather humorous, because we're all redheaded. :D 'Tis the Irish in us! :P
Ely
Was Mirror Mirror really actually not good?? *face drops*
Ely: so your gonna see Brave, eh? Someone told me it was really nasty.....In his words: "Those movies just aren't what they used to be." If ya do go, tell me how it was?
Good drawing Kismint! :)

@ Lauricia---err---L/K:
Nah, it wasn't worth seeing.
I am a fan of Pixar though, and that automatically compells me to go and see brave...though I've heard it's not of the most outstanding Pixar work.
I think the thing about Brave is that it's based on humans and human life, whereas other Pixar masterpieces were focused on insects (Bug's Life), monsters (Monster's Inc.), toys (Toy Story), etc.
Nooo! Brave doesn't look that good of a movie. Maybe it's a gitl thing. *shrugs* I like the old ones better. And soe of the new ones like tangles. That was a good one!
Yup, I'm gonna see Brave. I've also heard that it's not the greatest movie in the world, but what is? I really like Pixar movies--the animation fascinates me to no end. So I'm gonna go, but take what I'm watching with a grain of salt. Plus--the main characters hair is red. Gotta go see that. :P And my brother rarely offers to take me to see movies with him. It's a win-win either way. :D

lol Regollin!!! When my dad saw the trailer for it, he said, "Hm. Looks like a Scottish take on Mulan without all the singing." :D I love my daddy. :P
