Elucidation

Today my dad said that sometimes you have to lose in order to win again. I told him that was a good quote.

I've heard something along those lines once before, and it seems to have a good meaning behind it. I only say seems because my slow brain is still mulling over it.

Thank you SO much for your input on spine ideas!!! It was a HUGE help! I took in mind what you said of not using white and went to the book store. I noticed a lot of them did use white but to my surprise, they didn't pop out as I thought they should have. Very interesting so thanks for pointing it out because white was one I was considering.

Allons-y!

Thanks Jack! I love your comments! =D

I am very glad (and kind of proud) to have helped you with your cover color controversy. =D

The other thing that should be taken into consideration is that it will often depend on what colors are surrounding the book. For example, you probably WOULD find your eye drawn to a white book---if it were floundering around in a mass of black book (and vise-versa).

God bless!

Dad quotes are the best.

I found that brother quotes are completely different.
And this is what he said to me: "Watch out, she's turning into the hulk right before our eyes."
My family finds it extremely entertaining to get me worked up.

And no. Big NO.....I did not even come close to turning into a hu- never mind.

That was kinda off subject.

I like your dad's way of thinking there :)

Teehee...Lauricia as the Hulk? Certainly sure can see that! =P

For some odd reason, Hulk jokes are the best.

You're joking, right? ;)

But seriously..........

Haha, I'd consider it a sort of compliment to be characterized as Dr. Banner ('cause personally, I think he is totally awesome). But yes, I am being my regularly sarcastic self.

Whoa--this is what happens when I decide to play games in the evening rather than haunt the internet...Lauri? The Hulk?

My mind cannot fathom this. :)

K-minty: your father be brilliant. Wish my dad had gems like that more often(or maybe he does and I'm just not listening). Oh well. Thanks to him, I know how to help someone take stitches out of a dog and a vague idea of how to pop a Chihuahua's eye back in...you win some, you lose some. :)

I am no hulk....And the idea....Well....That's a scary idea.

But all is well, I knew dear Minty was joking.

......Right Minty? ;)

Oh, I love you two.
