A wonderful Saturday is all around me. I've pulled weed, swept the pool, and had a glorious time in the Sissu (my climbing tree). And it's only noon.
I don't think I've ever been up in my tree in the morning. It's absolutely wonderful! Especially with the billowing breeze that we're getting today. The nice thing about Sissu leaves is their transparency, and the way the flutter in the wind. This morning, the sunlight came dancing through, causing the leaves to dapple me in sun and shade. It's a wonderful place to be inspired in. And now that the weather is becoming more outdoorish feeling, it means one thing: Autumn is in the air: Tree climbing is in order.
Prepare to seize the day!
I welcome October. The change in months is a nice change. It helps me push forward, and think of the "fresh start" that I've gotten.
Oh, and the other thing that makes me excited for the months to come is getting good excuses for wearing long sleeves & giant hoodie-sweatshirts.
I love those things!
Ah yes! Autumn is in the air. Goodbye lemonade, welcome back, hot chocolate!
...actually, winter is when we end up harvesting our lemons from or lemon tree... ...And that means lots and lots of lemonade... Weird huh?
Anyway, I just wanted to show you the picture of the weed monster. I had a lot of fun doing this to my poor dog who puts up with my irritating ways.
...Of course, it was his fault when he sat down in the patch of weeds I was trying to pick not mine.
I'll catch up with you later!
