Snow Experiance

Whoa!!! I actually, really did, SNOW at my house in Phoenix Arizona about four minutes ago for around a full 30 seconds!! I have never actually stood in falling snow! And to think, it's even sunny outside (although there are clouds and they are in the direction that the snow was falling from). It now reminds me of two things, one is that last night I had a dream that it snowed, (those dreams I had last night were really weird) and the other thing that it reminds me of is the part in the Voyage of The Dawn Treader when Lucy is reading the spell for snow out of the magician's book.
Oh yeah, I watched that at the Harkins by our house again yesterday nigh. Something about those books/movies really just sticks with me. I wonder if that's because in a way, they really are just symbols of things that are true. I often think that somewhere or someday I will see a place like Narnia. In The Last Battle (the 7th book of the series) CS Lewis creates a picture of heaven that, to me, would fit perfectly. Well, I suppose one day, I shall un-reveal that mystery!
But for now, I think I should keep my head on something more currant! For example, we just got our new TV we ordered off of Amazon.com!! Hipp, Hipp, Hooooray! I can't wait to start watching The Lord Of The Rings like me and my brother planed to do as soon as we got the TV and DVD player hooked up!

Untill later,
Let it snow!

Merry Late Christmas And Have a Happy New Year!

Wow! it's been a little while since I've written huh? latly I've been working on my critic of The Voyage Of The Dawn Treader on my other blog, but that's getting kinda old and I feel like I need a break of having to be so critical of every little aspect of what I can remember. Speaking of that, I think I will be seeing that movie again at around 4:30pm this evening! I'm pretty excited, and hopefully I will watch it with a little more enjoyment now that I have seen before and know what to expect.
So was your Christmas good? I went to Tucson again and had a great time. Some of my favorite things that I got as presents were some maps of Narnia and Middle Earth (from The Lord of The Rings). Hold on, Let me see if I can find some sort of map(s) that resemble them on Wikipedia...

...Okay cool, I just found these on Google Images, I now have these pictures/maps on rolls of papers, so I can look at them whenever I like! I also got a big gigantic wall poster of a picture of Aslan, its really, really cool!
So, what are you doing for New Years Eve? I'm not really sure what we are doing, but we might spend it putting up this new TV that we bought off of Amazon.com! I think it's a 46 inch but I'm not sure, it's somwhere around that range.

Well, I guess I'll see ya later!

Another report for school

Hello, today I will write you are report that I have to do for school. It shouldn't be a very long one, and hopfully you won't get to bord of it. (at least this one won't be like the report I thought that I had to do on the Hoover Vacumm Cleaner)
This report I'm doing will be about Comanche, a survivor of the Battle of the Little Big Horn. (which I think is a confusing name for a battle)
PS: This is not on the wii, I'm back on my computer again but I still have a little cold.

PSS: You may be wondering why I write my school reports on my blog. I figure it's easier to kill two birds with one stone.

PSSS: Oh, one more thing, all this info is coming from Wikipedia.

Comanche
Fort Leavenworth, Kansas, 1868,

Mixed Mustang/Morgan 15 hand bay gelding had been bought by the U.S. Army. He had caught the eye of Captain Myles Keogh, who bought him for his own personal mount. Keogh only rode the horse into battle, and his bravery was displayed when fighting the Comanche indians in Kansas. While fighting, an arrow wounded the horse in the flank, but he endured it, and allowed his Keogh continue to ride on him throughout the battle. Afterward, the horse was named Comanche for playing more than what his part was in the fight.
On June 25, 1876, Captain Keogh and Comanche were led by Lt Col. George Armstrong Custer, in the Battle of the Little Bighorn.
That battle became well-known after the whole detachment was killed, but Comanche was discoverd two days after the battle, his wounds were said to be serious but not quite fatal if he was properly nursed. In a matter of time, Comanche healed, and though having many scars, he was in full health.
The horse was retired in April of 1878, and was taken to numorus Forts and kept under great care.
As one of only two horses in the United States hisory to be buried with full military honors, Comanche died in 1890. But he is still acknowledged everywhere, and as proof of that, there have been songs written in his honor, as well as the fact that he is now in a case, preserved, and on display for any to see the brave war-horse that he was.

Catch ya later!

December Dissapointments

Wow! whadaya know? it's December already! and by the way, I'm writing this 100% on the wii!
So today I've been being annoyed by an EXTREMELY ANNOYING stuffed-up nose. See, last Saturday I woke up not feeling good at all. By the end of that day, I was all most all the way better, with the exception of a scratchy throat. Since then I've been recovering and having to blow my nose a lot. Unfortunately, today of all days I started feeling not as good as yesterday. My nose is often impossible to breath with (but right now its not that bad) and being a big fan of being able to breath through my nose, that has made things most annoyingish. And so with that happy news it's probably obvious to you that I shouldn't really go anywhere or do much since I'm not feeling as great as I could be feeling at the moment, which means that I'm not at youth-group right now. But actually, it's not so bad since I'm getting a chance to write on my blog on the wii.
So have you been checking out my other blog? I've been posting a lot of stuff on it. Be sure to check it out at Dragsfly99.Blogspot.com

Bye, ad I hob you hab a gud firdst week of December! (ad nod odly firdst week, budt a gud redst or da year!)

I'mmmmm Hoooooommme

I'm back! Yahoo! I'm here at my desk, on my own computer, listening to 'Many Meetings - by Howard Shore' on another window of Internet Explorer here at home!
I obviously like to home huh?
So how did your Thanksgiving go? Mine was... uh okay I guess. Like I said, I don't usually exactly like to be away from home unless it's to Tucson or California which I think of as my second home. I did like seeing our friends from Texas on the way back from Oklahoma, and I did like our pit-stop to Tucson to eat even MORE Thanksgiving stuff that was mostly made by the wonderfully-experienced-in-raisin-pie-making, talented cook Grammy ...Yummmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm.
So anything you have to say? anything, anything?!
Well I'm gonna go write a post on Dragons Fly, be sure to check it out! Have a good time eating Thanksgiving left-overs!

Another hotel in Santa Rosa New Mexico

Heya! So the title today is kinda interesting. If you look back to November 2009 you'll see that I wrote a post called a hotel room. That was written when I was staying at a hotel in New Mexico on the way to Oklahoma for Thanksgiving. Well here I am, one year later doing the same thing! Once we get to Oklahoma and see some family, we'll all go to Branson Missouri where they have lots of attractions and shows.
So anyway, what are you doing for Thanksgiving? please comment and tell about it.
Oh, one thing that I would like to talk about is my other blog. There is only one thing that is going wrong with my new blog aside from the fact I can't edit it just the right way, and that problem is that I seem to be writing a little more often on that one this on this one! Which is good but hopefully I don't get to the point where I only post on Dragons Fly!
Well, not much else to type about, and now you've gotten the 411!
Catcha later!

The Music

Hey! You may be wondering why on earth is this blog actually playing music?? well, if you go down all the way to the bottom, you will see a playlist of songs (and they should be automatically playing). As you can read down there, you can make it so that the songs don't just play in order, that way, you don't listen to Lord of The Rings songs for a looooooong time then finally get it to change to The Chronicles of Narnia music.
I think some of my favorites are Concerning Hobbits, The Battle, The Seige on the Castle, Evacuating London, and a couple more.
I hope you enjoy them!

New news:

Hey! I have a new blog! unfortunately it's a little tough to get everything to show up on it. It's also really hard to get my posts just the right way so that everything has the right spaces and the paragraphs match up. Oh, and the other problem that I keep having is that on this new blog, my title box is gone! I can't put titles on my posts! Oh well, that's okay, as long as that doesn't happen on this blog!
So yeah, check it out at DragonsFly99.Blogspot.com make sure you put the 99 in or else it will pop up with another random blog written by someone else! This new blog will be about my two favorite series of books: The Lord of the Rings and The Chronicles of Narnia. Hope you enjoy it!

A good loooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooong post

Hello there! Here I am sitting in an office in Tucson AZ, listing to piano and violin music, (It's really cool) on my mom's laptop alone in the waiting area, finally getting time and wanting to write and fill you in on what's been up.
On September 18Th, I got on a plane to go further East than I've ever really been. A plane bound for Orlando Florida! A place full of wetlands, palm trees, and supposedly 'gators. From the Orlando airport - which is HUGE by the way - our whole group got on the bus dubbed 'Disney's Magical Express' can you see where we are getting at here? when on the Disney's Magical Express we got to our Resort - otherwise know as Disney's Saratoga Springs Resort. Just to let you know, in case your having a hard time catching on here, we are at Disney World and this place is miles and miles and miles and miles of area so it's not just the theme parks its Resorts, and all KINDS OF PLACES!!
So we walked into the lobby, oh by the way, this is about 8:00pm in Florida time give or take a and hour, and we sign in and then me and mom reveal our big secret... We are staying in a tree-house 3 bedroom, 2 bath, full kitchen, TVs in every room, villa!!! But now the challenge is to get there, see, Saratoga Springs is all spread out, it has the regular hotel complexes with all different names and bus stops, then, it also has the tree-house areas. So since we were new and it was our first night AND is was really dark around there AND we would have had to walk all over the place to find all the right paths to take without getting lost, (which is really hard for all my family) all 9 of us (My mom, dad, brother, grandparents, aunt, and 2 family friends) were crammed into an extend golf cart. When I say crammed, I mean PRETTY CRAMMED. So during the seeming long journey, we all had fun trying to squeeze in and not fall out. When we started going uphill, every one started shouting "LEAN, LEAN! in hopes that the golf cart wouldn't give out and roll backwards on us. Once we got to our beautiful tree-house raised cabin thingy, I took a shower and we all relaxed and watched U of A win the game. I went to bed in my bottom bunk bed (me and my brother both wanted the top but I gave in since he's older and the bunk bed was really low) I went to sleep wondering what the rest of the week would be like......

.......There is NO way I could tell you everything that happened that week in September, I don't have the patience to sit here and type it all down but it was..
Fun, Exciting, Exhausting, Stomach-stuffing, and as they say in the commercials, memory providing. You just gotta experience it for yourself that's all I'm gonna say.

The next thing that I will type about that's been going on since I've posted last would have to be why I'm in Tucson anyway. Well as you have probably figured out, I come here a lot because we've got lots of family here and Oh! by the way, the office that I'm in is actually my aunt's new office space that she either bought or is renting. So my Grandpa had knee surgery so me and my mom came down here. I always love Tucson, its quite different than Phoenix.
Speaking of Phoenixes, - you know, the legendary bird - at my church's youth-group which I am now in, (7-12 grade students) they made up this thing where every one who wants to are different birds. For example, one of my friends, who's name is Mag-??? (can't tell you the whole name for security) she chose the bird Magpie. Another one of my friends, A.K.A. THC (see her blog at Totallyhorsecrazy.Blogspot.com) is a Blue Bird because she love the color blue. I wanted to be either a Griffin, Phoenix, or maybe a golden eagle, but mythological birds and birds of prey aren't allowed. So I settled for the Kea bird. It's a type of parrot from New Zealand, and I put a picture of it in the last post, so check it out!

On a totally different note, I'm thinking about making a new blog called DragonsFly. It would be a blog discussing the books of The Lord of the Rings and The Chronicles of Narnia. You know already how much I love those books so I thought that maybe I should start a blog about them. Of course, now that I type that I realize that secondary blogs are never as good as the primary one is so I dunno... I'll just have to keep it in mind.
Well I guess I will wrap it up.

Have an awesome day!

Listening to the silence.

If you were to compare the silence of a library, to the silence of a church service, what would you determine? What about the silence underwater, to the silence of your bedroom at night? I'm trying to discover what the differences of the place, can do to the quietness.
Imagine the stillness and quietness of a library, what pops up in your head when you think of this? I think of solemn, and earnestness about reading and studying. So I guess you could say the silence of a library would be described (in my opinion)as a feeling of exploration in a quiet sort of way. Now, let's compare that to the silence of night-time when you're in bed and it's dark and you can only see vague shapes in the room. Some people would say that that's a lonely silence, without the sight of everyday things that you would see in your room otherwise. I actually think that when imagine that quietness all around me in the dark I get a sense of peaceful, thoughtfulness. I think the reason why is because just being there in the dark without any distractions helps one think ya know?
Okay next on the list of 'silent situations' would have to be... ...Underwater! that's a good one. When you're under water you obviously can't stay there for too too long, unless you're snorkeling. Underwater there's a sense of adventure, exploration, and while there could be nice calm serenity, there could also be, as I said, adventure! Now, I've never had much experience in oceans, and not lakes or anything of that sort either! I would have to say that most of the times (or almost all of the times) I've been underwater would be in a swimming pool, specifically in our backyard. So to sum up the way to describe underwater silence would have to be a oxymoron: adventuress silence that can turn out to be calm and relaxing.
The last type of silence that I'm gonna go through would have to be the silence of a church service. This needs a lot of thinking in my perception because of the many different feelings you get when you listen to the pastor preach. You can get peace through God's message, and you can also get in that little spot where you just feel God 'tapping you on the head' telling you to "listen up: this is what I want YOU to do." So in a nutshell, though there are many, MANY different ways to explain the silence of a church sermon I'd have to say that one of the more common ways of doing that explaining would be to say that through the silence, there's no silence at all! It's God trying to whisper to your heart.

Thanks for reading! (This was really one of my school projects)
I'd like to know what your thoughts on silence are, so please PLEASE post a comment!!!

The Story of C. S, Lewis

C. S. Lewis:
The man behind Narnia and other Far-away places.

As a four year old boy, Clive Staples Lewis had a dog named Jacksie. Jacksie was killed by a car and shortly after his pet's death Clive announce that his new name was Jacksie (Whitch was shortened to Jack). This name is the name that his friends knew him as, but not only as 'Jack Lewis' but as a British novelist, academic, medievalist, literary critic, essayist, lay theologian and Christian apologist.
Some of Jack's well known and loved books are The Space Trilogy, Mere Christianity, The Great Divorce, The Screwtape Letters, and The Chronicles of Narnia. Some of these (One series in particular that I'm talking about) colorfully written books are considered 'Fiction' but some would debate that matter. The Chronicles of Narnia are an absolutely great example of truth behind Fiction. There are many things in Narnia that represent people, places and things in Lewis's life (and in our lives as well). One of those people in these books in Digory Kirke, a boy who in many ways, represents Lewis himself. In the book, The Chronicles of Narnia, The Magician's Nephew, Digory, being a boy who live in the time that Jack was a boy, had a mother who was very sick and was going to die. This is very much like Jack's own personal life.

C. S. Lewis was seven when his family moved into "Little Lea" this was the home in which Jack grew up and and it was in the Strandtown area of East Belfast Ireland. Jack and his brother Warrnie used to hide in a wardrobe and create their own world that they had named Boxen. Jack loved books and he felt that finding a book to read was as easy as walking in a field and "finding a new blade of grass." Jack's mother Florance Lewis died of cancer in 1908 shortly after her death Jack was sent to a boarding school where he would join his brother.
When Jack had turned 15 he abandoned Christianity and became an atheist, he was interested in mythology and was awed at legends and songs, he also grew to love nature.
Jack experienced trench warfare when he left his scholarship at Oxford and volunteered in the British Army in 1917. The next year on the 15th of April a English shell, falling short of its target wounded Lewis. When he recovered in October, he was assigned to duty in Andover, England and was discharged in December of 1918. Soon after he returned to his studies. Although when Jack first experienced England he disliked it horribly and thought that the accents and landscape were awful, but later in life he grew to like it. In 1930, Jack and his brother moved, along with Mrs. Moore and her daughter Maureen (Edward "Paddy" Moore had been on of Jack's fellow cadets and close friend in training for the army, but was killed in 1918, therefore, Jack and his brother took care of Paddy's mother and sister, the Moores). There four moved into "The Kilns" which was a house that all of them contributed financially to purchase on the outskirts of Oxford.
J. R. R. Tolkien played quite a big role in Jack's life, as well as being one of his good friends, and a fellow writer and part of the 'Inklings' club, Tolkien was a main part of getting Jack to come back to Christianity. Tolkien, being a Roman Catholic, hoped that Jack would become one as well but Jack chose to become a member of the Church of England.
Joy Gresham, (also know as Joy Davidman) a American writer who had a Jewish background, and also a convert from atheism and Christianity, became great friends with Jack. After Joy's visit to the UK, she and Jack were married and her and her two sons, David and Douglass, came to live with Jack. After complaining of a painful hip, Joy was diagnosed with terminal bone cancer. This was very sad news for Jack and his two step-sons, but Joy's cancer soon went into a brief remission, and the couple lived together with David, Douglas, and Warrnie Lewis as a family. Joy's cancer went into relapse and she died in 1960.
In early June of 1961, Jack was diagnosed with inflammation of the kidneys which caused blood poisoning. His health began improving throughout the next year, and in April, he returned to his post at Cambridge. Jack's health continued to improve and his friend, George Sayer, considered Jack to be back to himself again by spring in 1963. On the 15th of July 1963, Jack once more fell ill and was admitted into a hospital. 5:00 pm the next day, Jack suffered a heart attack and entered into a coma, and unexpectedly awoke 21 hours later. He was discharged from the hospital and returned to the Kilns, but he was too ill to return to work and resigned from Cambridge in August. His health continued to deteriorate and in mid-November, Jack was diagnosed with end stage renal failure.

November 22, 1963.
Media coverage was going crazy about the assassination of President John F. Kennedy, who had been fatally shot while riding in a Presidential motorcade in Dallas, Texas. Needless to say, that day was one of the most chaotic then any other, Americans were devastated when they heard that their beloved President, JFK, was dead. However, something else happened that day that media seemed to push aside. At 5:30 pm the well-known and respected author scholar and academic, C. S. Lewis (or Jack as we've been brought to calling him) collapsed in his bedroom and died minutes later, this was exactly one week before his 65th birthday.

Jack was bitterly mourned for after his death, but his stories, poems, letters, legacy and faith live on.

August: The Month

Happy Birthday to me! Happy Birthday to me! Happy Birthday dear meeeeeeee.. Happy Birthday to me! ( and many more on Chanel Four and Scoby Doo on Chanel two and all the rest on PBS ) Well did you like my singing? It was my Birthday lets seeee today is the 19th so is WAS my birthday 12 days ago! Actually today is my brother's birthday and on Monday is my friend THC's ( Tottalyhorsecrazy.Blogspot.com ) birthday and THEN next week is my other friend Dbug's
( Doodlebug97.Blogspot.com ) birthday. So birthday party's all around! So what's new with you this August? I went to Tucson ( again ) a few weeks ago, or was is one week ago? I can't remember but I helped paint my aunt's new office while I was there.
This morning for the first time I got to ride Neon for the first time! I'm the 2nd person to ever ride him and the 1st person to ride him at a canter! ( for a few seconds ) That was really exciting, although, Neon is really hard to steer! Riding him is kinda like driving a car without much 'pull' or 'connection' to between the steering wheel and the tires. Of course you have to take into consideration that Neon is only around two and a half years old and doesn't quite get the picture of how to go not where he wants to go but where his rider wants him to go. But wow! trying to canter on him was really fun and I admit, maybe a little intimidating at first. Anyway, I wish a happy August to you ( especially if you have a birthday this month! )

Chatch ya later!

A hiking mistake

Ever gone on a hiking trail that you thought was going to turn out on a loop and be a nice, long hike that would be scatterd with Aspen trees and lots of diffrent wildflowers? But insted it turned out that you missed the trail-head because a car was parked in front of the sign and you went on a straighter, much shorter trail not expecting to find a sign telling you that the trail you thought you were on was really behind you? So then you go and hike back through the path that you came there on and took a lot shorter hike then you had expected, but the secery was great and the temperture was really really nice? Did it ever happen to you?
My guess is is that you already know that by the way that I just typed that I just experianced it. It was fun, even though we (My aunt Lynda, Kidder, my brother, and I) didn't make it to the right trail. By the way this was on Mt. Lemon whitch is a really big mountain in Tucson. I've been here in Tucson for lets see... 6 day so far, and we are going back home tommorow. It's been fun but I am ready to see Arlo soon agin. Well, thats the very basic info of our hike that we did today!

Lots of stuff going on

Hi! I guess it's time to start typing agin huh? So lets see last time I wrote a post I had just got back from California. The reason why we were there was because my dad and brother went on a biology trip to Catalina Island for My brother's homeschool co-op class. But that was a little while ago so now I can tell you what's more recent! First of all pretty much my whole family got sick with what we think was food poisening which really stinks but I got over it fairly quickly. The after that I got stung by a bee at what? 8:30PM and we wern't shure if I was allergic or not becuase I might have been showing signs of it so I had to go to the emergancey room for just one measly bee sting. Then, geuss what? I got sick with strep throut! So those were all the set bakcs but don't get me wrong, I've got to do some fun things lately! for example: I GOT TO GO CAMPING FOR THE FIRST TIME SINCE I WAS ABOUT THREE! That was fun! Even though we only got to stay one night (due to the strep throut) it was fun. We got to go with our friends to a campsite up near a Lake called Big Lake I know, very unique name huh? So yeah that was fun. Oh! some other thing that I'm really exsited about are VBS and my birthday and the fact that we are building a fire pit in our backyard! Just think, roasting marshmellows one minute and swimming in the pool the next! that should be really fun especially when I have discovered the secret to the perfect way of making a s'more!! Here is the not very safe trick: before putting the marshmellow on the sqewer you stick the sqewer into the blazing hot coals untill the sqewer's point is either red-hot or turning rainbowish colors! After that CARFULLY poke the marshmellow onto the BURNING hot sqewer and then toast over the hot coals (but not too close) untill the whole marshmellow is yellowish and a little brown. It's really quite good because the inside of the marshmellow is a little toasty too! Oh yeah! Here is a cool thing that happend when we went camping, me THC and my dad went for a walk\hike to explore around the campsite and when we did we discoverd one of the most beautifull spots of outdoors I've seen in person. THC and I called it the vally of the two forests. When you get through the one wood you come quite suddenly to a big strech of open land the goes on as far as you can see in both directions and on the other side of this open land is a big wall of Aspen trees and pine tress which make it look really REALLY cool. I'm saving that picture of what I saw there in my head as much as I can.
One last thing before I go! As I said VBS is coming up (Which you can read about in other posts of mine) In fact, It starts on monday which is only two days away! Yipppyyy!

Hi there

Hello! As you may have guessed I'm back from California and I've been back for a long time! I've got to admit I've been putting off writing post for a long time so I guess I'll just have to do it now huh? Well at least I have lots to write about. Lets seeeeee, Got back from California, had a fun time there but got sick a little bit. Oh! It was kinda weird because when we were staying at my aunt's house there in Orange county her dogs got sprayed by a skunk! I guess there are a lot of skunks in that area so bewere! Another thing that I got to do in California is go to a frozen yougurt place where you have choices of yougurt to choose from and you can mix however many types of diffrent yougurt you want and then put whatever toppings that you want on it and you pay for it by how much it ways. I like those kind of places because then I can get really weird combonations of frozen yougurt! Here, these are the ones that I have done, have fun trying them somtime!

COCO-BERRY-CHEESECAKE Yougurt
What to mix:

New York Cheesecake,
Chocolate,
Pomograntate Blueberry

What to top it with:

Strawberries,
Blackberries,
Granola,
Carmel Sauce

Note: This purple-brown delightfulness is really good! Especially as the carmel sauce gives off that sweet carmel flavore!

OATMEAL-STRAWBERRY-KIWI-COOKIE Yougurt

What to mix:

Oatmeal Cookie,
Strawberry,
Origanal Tart

What to top it with:

Kiwi,
Grahm Craker Crumbles,
Carmel Sauce,
Chocolate Sauce

Note: This frozen sweet+tart concoction will satisfy your tastbuds, and with the choclate-carmel accent, it will leave you wanting more!

Hope you get to tast these weird mixes!

Bon Voyage!

Hey there! Check it out! it's JUNE!!! Ya know what that means? In short it means: Summer, Swimming, Baseball games (blah), Seeing friends more often, Family over, VACATIONS, My birthday, Birthdays of people that I know, Church stuff, VBS, and ummmm that's all I can think of so far! But not all of that will be happening in June, In fact, we are going on a Vacation to Disney World in late September after the school year starts! Anyway let me tell you the crazy things happening around here!

Okay, so first school is out!! Yippee! When ever I say that the song that goes 'Schools OUT for the summer!' starts playing in my head! Anyway, school is out and on Wednesday my uncle came to our house on the way to his cabin up in Alaska. While he was still here some of my cousins and grandparents came up to see the D-Backs play against the Rockies at Bank One Ballpark. (currently named Chase Field, I just call it Bank one anyway) See, the D-Backs have been playing horrible this season and so they called up our church and asked them if they would like a BIG bunch of free tickets! I'm not kidding! the seats weren't even the cheapest seats either! The funny thing is is that we were already planning on going to the game that our church got free tickets for! So then my parents let me and my brother invite one friend over to spend the night after the ball game. We had a full house! So the next day which was Saturday my cousins and my brother and my friend all went swimming for almost four hours I think! then after that my grandparents and cousins went back to Tucson and my friend and I watched one of the Chronicles of Narnia movies (She's a really big fan too). Then my friend's parents picked her up and took her home and we were all EXTREMELY tired. The next day which was Sunday, we went to church and my uncle (who was still over) went with us. Actually, to be exactly accurate we went to Sunday school and then had to take my uncle to the airport to fly to Alaska. Now as you see the story of last week is coming to an end because it's already yesterday, but the story of tomorrow is about to be told!!

Have you ever heard the song 'Lets pack up and move to California!' well that's what I'm gonna do! well kind of, I'm not moving to California I'm just visiting because my dad and brother and going to Catalina Island for my brother's Biology class! My and my mom decided to go and visit my Aunt (Aka. K9lovr) who lives near Catalina. We are going to try to leave in about eleven or twelve hours and then coming back on Sunday. Now do you understand the title? Oh, and other summer things will include Youth camp for my brother, VBS in July and most likely a lot more! I'll write about that when that stuff comes up Okay?

To California and beyond!!

There and Back Agin

Well here I am again writing a post before the AWANA closing ceremonies! So you can plainly see that the title is about how I wrote a post like this a year ago. This is my last year so next year I get to go to the youth group which is for older kids. I'm sad and excited because my friends are already in youth so I can join them! But I've been in the children's department for years and years. Oh, another reason for the title is because I finished JRR Toliken's 'The Hobbit' or 'There and Back again'. I have to admit that book is REALLY good so now I'm reading 'The Lord of the Rings, the Fellowship of the Ring'! I love the movies but I never did read the books. Speaking of books, I finally got to read 'The Lightning Thief' and the sequels of that book. I do think that the book is a little better but they are so different it's hard to compare!! So that's What I've been busy with!

See ya!

Just making a monthly post

Hey there! I'm kinda bord so I will write a post. I'm wondering if there is a way to put music on your blog. I'm pretty shure there is but I don't know how to do it.
So what have you been doing since I wrote my last post? as always I ask you to comment on that, but since no one ever reads this I don't really expect you to. I've noticed how no one ever seems to leave comments lately but oh well. No matter what I'm gonna try to write a post every month! Soooooooooooooo... ...oooooooooooooo... ...ooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo.... ......ooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo......... whew!!! *pant* this is obviously one of those post where I'm pretty much writing about writer's block! Well, I guess I'll see ya around!

The Lightning Thief and more

Hi I just got done with my last post and now time to do this one! Have you seen the new movie Percy Jackson and the Olympians: The Lightning Thief? if you have please comment how you liked it. I saw it on my visit to Tucson! I thought it was pretty good but I've heard it's wayyyyyy not as good as the book, so now that I've seen the movie I want to compare it. By the way, never eat half a large bucket of buttered movie theater popcorn and the El Con theater in Tucson!! I had a very bad experience that had to do with getting sick to my stomach! So what's new with you? I'm very excited because I'm eating pizza for dinner tonight!!! WOO HOO three cheers for PIZZA!!!! You may have notice I like to use ! points, I think they look good on the end of a sentence and they make it look cheerful! You also may have noticed that I'm talking about random things tonight. It's weird because I hardly ever feel so random! :)

Bye 4 now!

This post was actually written in March

Hi there I know that the title sounds kinda weird but it's true!!!! The reason it's true was because I was going to have 'Arlo' my dog write his point of view on here but I decided not to, but I had already written on here saying I would, so I just am editing it. Well now that I typed that I will write another post that actually says I'm writing in March!!

The Capitol and more

Hi today I visited the Capitol of Arizona! ( I don't know if Capitol is spelled with a capitol letter! ) I was kinda interesting but, I am definitely NOT a history\politic crazy person! But the people there were really nice and fun so it wasn't so bad. I also got to go with THC so it was also nice that I knew someone there too.
Remember last year when I said I might try out for the VBS choir at church and I did? Well, I'm doing that this year too! I got a drama part as well as getting to sing the songs! The only thing is, is that one of the churches that we are preforming at will be picking out what parts their kids will have and what kids our church will have acting. So I just have to hope that the kids who will be doing the drama there will not have the same part as me, otherwise they get that part for that performance. But, if that does happen it's okay because I'll act out that part at our church for VBS family night! Well, what else is new? I'm looking forward for this weekend, it should be fun.

Hope your day goes well!

NEW YEAR!!!!!

Wow! Animal Lover has been through three years!!! Just six more posts and it will have a 50th anniversary! Sorry I never did get to doing the special Christmas post but I just couldn't get myself on it ( if you visit Totallyhorsecrazy.Blogspot.com you can read a good post about Christmas ). So did you see my new polls? I had a hard time coming up with the question\answer on it but I think I made it tough enough! So what did you do for New Year's Eve? I spent the night at Doodlebug's house with some other friends. It was funny because we tried to play a trick on Doodle's sister and her friend! they were sleeping in a room but they knew that we were up to something so instead of going in the room we taped the doorway with clear packing tape so that when you walk out you walk into the tape and get tangled in it! ( and we did this at three-thirty in the morning! ) In short, it failed.

Happy new year!
